Who We Are
We are professional table game dealers and members of Laborers’ Local Union 711 working here in the exciting and growing casino gaming industry at Twin Rivers Casino, Lincoln, RI. Every one of our members is fully licensed in our games by the Department of Business Regulations of the State of RI.
With revenues of nearly 71.1 Billion dollars in the US in 2015, the casino gaming and entertainment industry is expanding and opportunities for professional table game dealers are on the rise. Here at the Twin Rivers Casino, we have 113 live table games, which include a gaming mix of Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Craps, Spanish 21, Let It Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Big Six ‘Money’ Wheel, as well as a Poker Room.
What We Do
Local 711 is a union representing more than 560 Professional Table Game Dealers here in Rhode Island. Local 711 is an affiliate of the Rhode Island Laborers’ District Council and the Laborers’ International Union of North America. Our Local Union 711 protect members by: negotiating contracts with management; enforcing rights under the collective bargaining agreement and enforcing legal rights, such as those extended to workers under the National Labor Relations Act.
Members vote to elect their Business Manager and an executive board. The Business Manager then appoints stewards who provide, in this instance, round the clock representation for the members.
